Workshop: Intervention for Reading Difficulties in Children with Specific Learning Disabilities
Prof. Dr. Macid Ayhan Melekoğlu, Chair of the Department of Educational Sciences, conducted a workshop as part of the 24th International Symposium on Primary School Teacher Education (USOS-2026), organized in collaboration with the Association of Primary School Teacher Educators (SÖED) and Yıldız Technical University on May 14–17, 2026.
The workshop, titled “Intervention for Reading Difficulties in Children with Specific Learning Disabilities,” was attended by teachers, pre-service teachers, and graduate students. During the workshop, participants were informed about differentiated instruction, the response to intervention model, and effective instructional methods for supporting the reading skills of children with specific learning disabilities.
