Double Major and Minor Applications for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year

Applications for Double Major (ÇAP) and Minor programs for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year will begin on Monday, June 22, 2026.

A university-wide centralized online application system has been introduced for Double Major and Minor applications. The Double Major and Minor Application Module available in BUIS/OBİKAS (Boğaziçi University Student Information and Registration System) will be opened to students as of 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026.

The application process will be carried out in accordance with the following new procedures:

• The new online application system will be used for all applications. Students are required to submit their applications exclusively through BUIS.
• Students will be able to submit their applications through the system without seeking approval or signatures from their academic advisor, Double Major advisor, or department chair. The application system has been designed with a form interface that automatically generates all information using the most up-to-date data in students’ academic records.
  (A designated upload area is available for students whose YKS Results Certificate is not already included in the system.)
• Students will apply only to the faculty to which the second major program they wish to pursue is affiliated.
• Application results will be announced by the respective faculty to which the application has been submitted.
