Accessibility in Higher Education: Specific Learning Disabilities Policies Workshop

Prof. Dr. Macid Ayhan Melekoğlu, Chair of the Department of Educational Sciences, participated as the chair of the academic scientific committee and workshop coordinator in the “Accessibility in Higher Education: Specific Learning Disabilities Policies Workshop,” organized by the Dyslexia Families Association on May 7–8, 2026.

The workshop brought together academics from various universities across Türkiye, participants from different cities, non-governmental organizations, families, individuals with specific learning disabilities, and representatives of official institutions. Throughout the workshop, comprehensive evaluations and studies were carried out to strengthen accessibility in higher education.
