Graduate Programs Open Day activity was held on March 23, 2019 at the South Campus of Boğaziçi University. The event aimed to inform potential candidates about our graduate programs. Faculty members and research assistants met with candidates who wanted to be informed about MA and Ph.D programs, introduced the programs and answered questions and shared detailed information about the programs.
Department of Educational Sciences Assistant Professor Gulistan Gursel-Bilgin received John Laska Distinguished Dissertation Award by American Association for Teaching and Curriculum (AATC), and was invited to present her dissertation at the AATC Annual Conference in Dallas, Texas, USA on 4-6 October 2018. John Laska Distinguished Dissertation Award is given to one scholar every year by AATC for their strong contribution to education research.

Our graduate Fatma Zengin, MA in psychological counseling, will be visiting our senior students’ Field Experience II class on March 21, 2018.
She is an advocate of people with disabilities and a member of European Mental Health Network.
She will be introducing community based and wellness oriented mental health services.
She has been among the counselor team who has worked with other mental health professsionals
in preparing a proposal draft on mental health law in Türkiye and she will be talking about that work as well.
